This policy explains what personal data Pantheon Ltd (“Pantheon”, “we”, “us”) collects when you join the waitlist at pantheon.quest, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. It covers the waitlist and referral pages specifically; a separate in-app notice covers account and gameplay data.
Who we are
Pantheon is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
What we collect
When you submit the waitlist form, we store:
- Email address — to confirm your place on the waitlist, tell you your queue position, and contact you when access opens.
- Referral code — a code generated for you, and the referral code of whoever referred you, if any, so referral counts can be attributed correctly.
- Signup timestamp — when you joined, used to calculate your queue position.
- IP address — held briefly to rate-limit repeated submissions from the same address and reduce spam or abuse. Rate-limit records age out automatically and are not linked to your email or used for another purpose.
We don’t use cookies, analytics scripts, or tracking pixels on the waitlist or referral pages, and we don’t collect data beyond what is listed above.
Why we process it (legal basis)
- Consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) — submitting the form is how you ask to join the waitlist and receive confirmation and access-opening emails. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — we have a legitimate interest in preventing abuse of the signup form, which is why IP addresses are used for short-lived rate limiting.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist signup records until either the waitlist closes and access has been granted, or you ask us to delete your data, whichever comes first. Rate-limit records—IP addresses tied to signup attempts—are kept only for a short sliding window and deleted automatically afterward.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy (access)
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data (rectification)
- Ask us to delete your data, including withdrawing consent to future emails (erasure)
- Ask us to restrict or object to processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, email support@pantheon.quest from the address you signed up with so we can verify the request. We’ll respond within one month. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk if you believe we have mishandled your data.
Children
The waitlist is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect data from, children under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
